Luna Pier Housing Commission provides public housing, not Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers.
Public housing means the rental assistance remains with the apartment itself. When a resident moves, the subsidy stays with the unit so another eligible household can benefit. This differs from Housing Choice Vouchers, where assistance travels with the family to participating private landlords.
